Peppermint Milkshake
The holidays are best when spent with family, friends, and a peppermint shake in your hand! A peppermint shake makes the holidays that much sweeter. Are you even celebrating the holidays if you have not waited in line for one of these seasonal shakes at Chick-Fil-A? 🙂
With the sweet chocolate chips mixed with candy cane bits in ice cream form, the cool peppermint is everything you need this holiday season. In fact, the great thing about this recipe is you no longer have to be limited to indulging in this sweet treat for only two months out of the year.
The shake is a seasonal item and is only available from mid-November to early January at Chick-Fil-A. Now you can make it at home anytime you want without waiting in any lines to get it.
A peppermint shake at Chick-Fil-A is over $4.00. While they are so good, that is a little pricey, especially when you love their shakes as much as we do. We can make them at home for a fraction of the cost and still get our peppermint fix!

Do not blend for the long periods of time if you have a Vitamix. Also, put everything in at once and blend for 50 seconds on level 6. Perfect blend.
Jess Jankowski says
Ryan, thanks for sharing your tips for making this recipe using a Vitamix. As each blender is different, this is helpful information! Glad you enjoyed the recipe!
Meggy says
I have a vitamix and followed your tip and it was spot on. This came out so perfect, you couldn’t tell the difference between this and the real thing. Thanks!

Meggy says
In a pinch if the store is out of peppermint ice cream, could we use mint chocolate chip?
Jess Jankowski says
Hi, we haven’t tested that but it would be an ok substitute. Not quite the same as peppermint so it will have a slightly different taste.
Carla says
We have been making peppermint milkshakes for over 20 years in our home as a Christmas Eve tradition!
Glad to see others like this too!
Jess Jankowski says
Isn’t it the best!?! I love that tradition of yours!
