How to make Tuna Noodle Casserole recipe:
STEP ONE: First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Also, lightly spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
STEP TWO: Next, boil the egg noodles. While they are cooking, combine the filling ingredients in a large bowl.
STEP THREE: After draining the noodles, combine them with the filling mixture. Pour the noodle mixture into the baking dish.

Ingredients
FILLING:
- 12 oz bag Egg Noodles uncooked
- 10.5 oz can cream of celery soup
- 12 oz can light tuna in water drained
- 12 oz bag frozen peas and carrots rinsed ** see notes
- ⅓ cup milk
- ¼ cup mayonnaise or sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded, divided
CRUMB TOPPING:
- ½ cup bread crumbs Italian or Panko
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter melted
Instructions
PREP OVEN AND PAN:
- Move the oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Lightly spray a 13x9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
MAKE FILLING:
- In a large pot, boil egg noodles according to package directions.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked soup, tuna, peas and carrots, milk, mayonnaise, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and seasonings until well combined.
- Stir in the cooked noodles until the noodles are coated.
ASSEMBLE CASSEROLE:
- Pour the filling into the prepared 13x9 baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of melted butter and bread crumbs until the bread crumbs look like wet sand.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese on top of the casserole.
- Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture on top of the cheese.
BAKE AND SERVE:
- Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Serve immediately.
