- Next, place one tablespoon of filling onto each piece of flattened biscuit dough. Next, stack eight pieces of dough with filling on each other.
- Place the stacks in the prepared loaf pan.

- Repeat with the remaining dough and filling. Cover the pan with foil.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes. Let the pan cool for 7-10 minutes.
- Stir powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together to make the icing.

- Once the bread has cooled for 10 minutes in the pan, remove it from the pan and place it on a serving plate.

Recipe FAQs
Can I use homemade apple pie filling instead of store-bought?
Yes, you can. Just make sure the filling is slightly chunky to maintain the texture.
What if I don’t have Grands refrigerated biscuits?
You can substitute with any brand of refrigerated biscuits. Just ensure they’re similar in size.
Can I add any spices to the apple filling?
Sure. A pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, or even apple pie spice would enhance the flavor.
How do I know when the bread is done baking?
The bread should be golden brown on top, and a toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
What if my loaf pan is a different size?
If using a different size, adjust the baking time accordingly. A larger pan may require less time, while a smaller one may need more.
Storage Tips
SERVE AND STORE: The bread can stay at room temperature for about 24 hours before it goes stale.
FREEZE: You can freeze a loaf of this bread by wrapping it in 2 layers of foil and placing it in a freezer-safe Ziploc bag. We recommend icing the loaf once it comes out of the freezer.
THAW: Thaw at room temperature for 2-3 hours.
Recipe Variations
Instead of apple pie filling, you can use cherry pie filling, blueberry filling, and strawberry filling. You can also use Nutella if you have a chocolate craving!
If you love apple fritters with a nice cinnamon kick, then you should add about 1 teaspoon to the filling before it’s blended.
