Recipe FAQs
It takes about a half hour. You’ll need 10 minutes to prep the ingredients and 15 minutes to cook them.
This makes about six servings/enough for six people. But, of course, it’ll depend on portion size and your family’s hunger!
If your sausages are dry, you may have cooked them too high. This will often give you burned and/or dry sausages. No good! Stay on medium-high heat.
On a bun, as we said, with some of your favorite toppings. And if you aren’t sure what your favorite toppings are yet, try:
● Onion
● Sauerkraut
● Mustard
● Pickles
● And/or relish!

Budget Tips
- Buy in bulk. You can purchase Italian Sausages in bulk from wholesale clubs. We have found that buying larger quantities can often result in lower prices.
- Look for sales and discounts in your area. Keep an eye out for deals and discounts at grocery stores. For example, Italian Sausages tend to go on sale around the summer holidays. Plan your grilling menu around these sales to save money.
- Make the meal stretch with veggies. Adding vegetables to your grilled Italian Sausages naked the meal more substantial and cost-effective. Bell peppers, onions, zucchini, or mushrooms are all great options that complement the flavors of the sausage.
- Have a party and share the cost! Invite friends over for a BBQ and ask everyone to contribute something. This way, the cost of the sausage and toppings can be shared amongst friends and family.
- Repurpose the leftovers for other meals. For example, slice the sausages up and throw them into some pasta, in sandwiches, or on top of some pizza. This way, you maximize the usage of the sausages and minimize waste.
