At Jess’ family functions, her sister Amy is always in charge of drinks and ice. But one year, she upped her game and brought these Stuffed Mushrooms.
Amy, who is not typically found in the kitchen, tasted Stuffed Mushrooms at a party and loved them so much that she went home and made them herself, creating her own version. Recipe FAQs
You want to clean the mushrooms to remove any unwanted items from the mushrooms. However, mushrooms are like sponges, so you do not want to soak them. To wash the mushrooms, quickly run them under cold water and immediately pat them dry with a paper towel to extract any extra water.
The number one mistake resulting in soggy mushrooms is soaking them in water before baking them. See the question and answer above regarding how to properly wash your mushrooms before baking them to help avoid soggy mushrooms. One other tip to help prevent soggy mushrooms is to cook them at 375 degrees F. Cooking the mushrooms at a higher temperature helps draw the moisture out.
