This easy Brownie Cookies Recipe is just the Christmas Cookie recipe to make for the busy holiday season. They cost only $4.75 to make and 15¢ per cookie.
Remember when team Jacob or team Edward were a thing? Did you read the Twilight Series or watch the movies? Which team were you on? Was it a tough choice, and you wished you could pick both? I was team Edward but did love Jacob too, so I did have times where I felt torn. Life choices, am I right?!
So here we are with a similar dilemma! Cookies or brownies? What’s your choice? How do you pick one over the other when they are both so good?
I’ll tell you how you pick; you don’t! You combine a brownie and a cookie into one recipe! If only the choice between Jacob and Edward had been that easy!
Brownie Cookies are the best of both worlds. The ooey-gooey chocolate fudgy taste you love in a brownie is combined with the crispy outer layer crunch you love in a cookie.
You can now have your brownie and eat your cookies too! Skip the plain brownie mix and never have to face the dilemma of choosing between a brownie or a cookie again when you make this recipe!
Christmas Brownie Cookies Recipe Questions Answered:
Are cookies better than brownies?
It is kind of like comparing apples to oranges. Both have different qualities, so it just depends on what your preference is. Cookies are typically harder and crispier, while brownies are softer and more fudge-like. Both are full of chocolate goodness in their own way.
Is a brownie a cookie or a cake?
A brownie is classified as a bar cookie and not cake. This classification is because they are eaten with fingers like a cookie and not a fork like a cake
What goes with brownies?
You can easily add some different ingredients to change up the taste of your brownies. Try adding one of these suggestions to the brownie mix:
- Pieces of candy bars
- Flavored chips (butterscotch, peanut butter, chocolate, white chocolate, etc.)
- Chopped nuts
