Witches’ Brew Punch
Every spooky season, I love making this Witch’s Brew Punch because it’s so simple, fun, and always a big hit with my guests. The combination of chilled lemon-lime soda, green Powerade, and creamy lime sherbet gives it that magical, bubbling cauldron look without adding any pieces of dry ice.
It’s the kind of Halloween punch that makes kids’ eyes light up the moment they see it. My kids especially love adding in some gummy worms, candy eyeballs, or other fun Halloween candy.
Serve it in a large punch bowl, a large bowl, or a black cauldron for a little extra flair at your next Halloween party. This drink is a quick, budget-friendly way to brew up some festive fun, and every Halloween party needs a wicked-good punch to serve all the boys and ghouls!
Recipes Tips for the Best Witches’ Brew Drink
Serve the drink in a clear punch bowl. Place a small LED light or glow stick under the bowl for a magical look. It will make the green drink glow and look a little extra magical.
Add a few drops of green food coloring to the drink. If your punch looks too plain in color, add some food coloring to make the punch pop.
Easily create new Halloween drink colors and flavors. Switch up the sherbet and juice.
- Zombie Juice: Use purple-colored juice and sherbet.
- Pumpkin Juice: Use orange-colored juice and sherbet.

Witches’ Brew Recipe FAQs
Triple the ingredients, and combine everything in a large punch bowl.
Yes, you can add dry ice to the punch, but be sure it’s food-grade. When you place it in the punch bowl, the dry ice will sink to the bottom, ensuring no one accidentally consumes it while still creating that spooky, smoky effect.
A bright-colored sports drink, such as purple or green, works well to create a spooky, colorful effect. Choose your favorite flavor!
