Equipment

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ziploc Bags
  • blender
  • cutting board
  • chef's knife

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • ½ cup packed kale chopped
  • ½ cup packed spinach
  • 1 large banana sliced
  • 3 cups apple juice
  • ¼ cup chia seeds

Instructions

  • Distribute all of the ingredients except the apple juice and chia seeds into 6 quart-sized Ziploc bags.
  • Place the Ziploc bags into the freezer.
  • Pour ½ cup of apple juice into a blender.
  • Add in one frozen Ziploc smoothie pack.
  • Blend on high until smooth. Add in a little more apple juice if it is too thick.
  • Pour into a glass. Serve and Enjoy!
  • Repeat the steps with the remaining frozen packs and apple juice.

Notes

  1. You can make this smoothie without freezing it into Ziploc bags first. Just add all of the ingredients to the blender and blend before serving.
  2. Use ripe bananas. The riper the banana, the sweeter the banana.
  3. Use a high-speed blender for the best results. A good blender is what really gives the smoothie that smooth, creamy texture.
