Storage Tips
Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fruit slices, peanut butter, and powdered sugar.
Store: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Freeze: Place the cooked pieces in a Ziploc bag in a single layer and store in the freezer for up to three months. This is a great option for meal prepping breakfast.
Notes
- Use slightly stale French bread to absorb the egg mixture.
- Lower the heat slightly if the soaked bread slices are browning too fast.
- Use a hand mixer to blend the batter for a smooth egg mixture for dipping.
