Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 10.5- oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup butter cubed
  • 3 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups egg noodles uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 Tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 Tablespoons water

TOPPING:

  • cup butter melted
  • 1 ½ cups cracker crumbs

GARNISHES:

  • Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  • Spray the crock pot with nonstick spray.
  • Add the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, butter, broth, noodles, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the crockpot and mix until everything is well incorporated.
  • Set the crock pot on high for 2 hours.
  • Whisk together the cornstarch and water, and pour it into the crockpot. Mix until combined.
  • Mix the butter and cracker crumbs in a small bowl.
  • Sprinkle the cracker crumbs evenly over the chicken and noodle mixture.
  • Cook for one more hour.
  • Sprinkle with Chopped fresh parsley.
  • Serve and Enjoy!

Notes

STORAGE TIPS
Store: Leftovers will store in the fridge for up to four days in an airtight container.
Freeze: After cooking the casserole, let it cool completely, then wrap it tightly in foil or set it in an airtight container to freeze. It will stay fresh for up to three months.
Reheat: Thaw the casserole overnight in the refrigerator, and then reheat at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes.
