Breakfast Sliders Recipe (Easy)

PREP OVEN:

  • Move the oven rack to the middle position.
  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.

ASSEMBLE SLIDERS:

  • Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half long ways.
  • Place the bottom of the rolls in a 9x13 cookie sheet or baking dish.
  • Layer the sliced cheese, eggs, sausage, and shredded cheese.
  • Place the tops of the rolls on top to make the slider.
  • Cut the butter into small cubes and place in a small bowl. Melt the butter in the microwave for 10-second increments.
  • Add ¼ cup of maple syrup to 3 tablespoons of butter. Mix until combined.
  • Baste the butter and syrup mixture on top of the sliders with a pastry brush.
  • Sprinkle the poppy seeds on top.
  • Lightly cover the sliders with aluminum foil.

BAKE:

  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

SERVE:

  • Place the remainder of the maple syrup and melted butter in a small bowl for dipping the sandwiches into.
