Equipment

  • microwave-safe mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • mixing spoon

Ingredients

  • 14 large marshmallows
  • 12 ounce bag white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup pink melting candy wafers
  • ½ cup blue melting candy wafers
  • ½ cup yellow melting candy wafers
  • ½ cup green melting candy wafers
  • ¼ cup tropical skittles
  • ¼ cup assorted easter/colored sprinkles
  • 7 peep rabbits

Instructions

PREP MARSHMALLOWS:

  • Place a popsicle rod through the center of 2 marshmallows, making sure they are pushed touching each other.
  • Push the marshmallows down on the rod so that about ½ inch sticks up through the top of the marshmallows.

MELT CHOCOLATE:

  • Heat your white chocolate chips in a medium-sized heat-safe bowl according to package instructions until you have smooth white chocolate.

DIP AND CHILL MARSHMALLOWS:

  • Place your marshmallow pop over the bowl of melted white chocolate and spoon the white chocolate over the marshmallows, thoroughly coating all sides and top to bottom.
  • Allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl. Place the covered marshmallows on parchment paper.
  • Set them in your refrigerator to chill for about 5 minutes or until the white chocolate has hardened.
  • Once the white chocolate has hardened, remove them from the fridge and place a peep rabbit on the top of the pop using the ½ inch that you left out of the marshmallows.

MELT CANDY WAFERS:

  • Melt your pink, yellow, blue, and green candy wafers according to the package instructions.
  • Using a spoon, drizzle the melted candy wafers over them. You can also use them to make designs with a pipping bag or use it to stick skittles to the pops.
  • Use colored sprinkles to finish decorating the pops.

CHILL POPS:

  • Once the pops are decorated, chill them for about 5 minutes or until hardened.

SERVE

  • Serve the pops at room temperature or slightly chilled.
