French Dip Sliders

These French Dip Sliders are easy to make, freezer friendly, and perfect for parties and weeknight meals. They pack a lot of flavor and they’ll quickly become everyone’s favorite sliders!

Ingredients

FOR THE ONIONS:

  • 1 Tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 large yellow onion sliced

FOR THE SLIDERS:

  • 12 King's Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 8 oz sliced provolone this will be about 12 slices
  • 1 lb sliced deli roast beef
  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ Tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • 1 oz package au jus powder mix

Instructions

PREP OVEN AND BAKING SHEET:

  • Move the oven rack to the middle position and preheat to 375℉.

COOK ONIONS:

  • In a nonstick saute pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the onions until they start to caramelize, stirring frequently. About 10 minutes. Set aside.

ASSEMBLE SLIDERS:

  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Lay 6 slices of provolone on the bottom layer of the cut rolls.
  • Then evenly place the roast beef, spread the sauteed onion, lay the other 6 slices of provolone, and top with the other half of the king's rolls.
  • Mix the 2 tablespoons of melted butter, Italian seasoning, minced onion, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Using a pastry brush, brush the butter mixture over the rolls.
  • Sprinkle the rolls with the grated parmesan.

BAKE SLIDERS:

  • Lighty cover the sliders with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 5 minutes.
  • While the sliders are baking, make the au jus according to package instructions.

COOL AND SERVE:

  • Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve the sliders with a side of au jus for dipping.
