Instructions
PREP OVEN AND BAKING SHEETS:
Move the oven rack to the upper-middle and lower-middle positions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line baking sheets with silicone baking mats or parchment paper.
MIX BATTER:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined.
Gradually add in flour mixture and mix until combined. Don’t overmix.
Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
SCOOP BATTER:
Scoop batter using a 1 ½ Tablespoon cookie dough scoop and place on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
BAKE:
Bake for 8-10 minutes for soft cookies, longer for crispy. Rotate the pans halfway through baking.
COOL AND SERVE:
Remove the pans from the oven and place them on wire racks to cool for 5 minutes, and then transfer cookies to the wire racks to cool.
Serve warm or cooled to room temperature.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days.
