Ingredients

  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes with garlic & onion
  • 15 oz jar alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups shredded chicken or 2 cans of canned chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Boil the pasta as per the package instructions.
  • While the pasta cook, stir together the diced tomatoes, alfredo sauce, shredded chicken, garlic powder, and dried basil in a medium pot over medium heat.
  • Once the mixture comes to a simmer, add the parmesan cheese and stir until combined.
  • Lastly, serve the sauce over the cooked and drained pasta and enjoy.
