Equipment

Ingredients

  • 5 cups oats old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup dry milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Move oven rack to middle position and preheat to 325 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat; set aside.
  • If you have coconut oil that has solidified (is solid), then place coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and cook for 30-60 seconds on high until liquid.
  • In a big bowl mix all of the ingredients together.
  • Transfer granola mixture to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30-40, stirring every 10 minutes. It’s done when a little more than half the granola is golden.
  • Let it cool completely before removing from the pan. Store in an air-tight container.

Notes

This recipe makes 8 cups of granola.
