Easy Garlic Bread
This is a quick and easy side dish that goes great with soups, pasta dishes, and casseroles. The best part is that it’s done in less than 10 minutes and costs just $1.04 to make!
Servings: 6 people
- ½ loaf French bread cut lengthwise
- 3 Tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Move oven rack to the middle position and preheat oven to 475 degrees Line a baking sheet with foil and place the French bread, cut side up, on a baking sheet.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for 20-30 seconds, or until completely melted. Whisk in garlic powder and oregano.
Brush the butter mixture all over the cut surface of the French bread.
Bake for 4-6 minutes, or until golden brown along the edges of the bread. Cool for 1 minute and then slice and serve.
