Ingredients

  • 16 oz can refried beans
  • 8 Tablespoons salted butter cut into 16 pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon Valentina Mexican Hot Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

FOR SERVING:

  • 2 Tablespoons shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Sliced jalapeños optional

Instructions

  • Place the refried beans, cut up pieces of butter, hot sauce, and cumin in a medium saucepan.
  • Heat over medium-high heat until the heated through and the butter has melted completely, about 4-5 minutes. You’ll want to stir often.
