Green Beans Casserole

Green Bean Casserole is a Thanksgiving staple that is easy to make and serves a crowd. It has just four ingredients: green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and French fried onions.

Ingredients

  • 6 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans French style or cut, drained
  • 2 cans (10.75 oz each) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cans (6 oz each) French fried onions

Instructions

  • Move the oven rack to the middle position and preheat to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine drained beans, canned soup, and milk and stir until well combined.
  • Stir in 1 can of fried onions.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges of the casserole are bubbly.
  • Remove the casserole from the oven and evenly distribute the remaining can of fried onions over the top.
  • Bake for 5 minutes longer. Serve immediately.

Notes

Instead of canned beans, you can use 8 cups of fresh green beans.
