- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion chopped
- 2 large garlic cloves minced
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 10.75 ounces can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 16 ozs frozen mixed veggies thawed
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4-5 cups frozen tater tots
MAKE MEAT LAYER:
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and then drain excess fat.
Add the onion and cook until the onions are translucent for about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook while constantly stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper.
ASSEMBLE CASSEROLE:
Transfer ground beef mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
In a medium bowl, combine condensed soup and sour cream. Spread over the beef mixture, followed by frozen mixed veggies, followed by the cheddar cheese.
Finally, top with tater tots.
