PREP POTATOES:

  • Wash potatoes, peel them if desired, or leave the peel on.
  • Slice the potatoes using a mandoline, then cut them into strips.
  • Place potatoes in a large bowl with cool water, completely submerged.
  • Allow the potatoes to soak for 1 hour.

PREP AIR FRYER:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F.
  • Next, preheat the oven to 250 degrees F to keep the fries warm between cooking batches.

PREP FRIES:

  • Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Add the fries to a bowl in batches and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

AIR FRY:

  • Add a single layer of fries to the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
  • Add fries to a baking sheet and place them in the preheated oven to keep warm.
  • Serve with ketchup, ranch, and/or parmesan cheese if you like.
