Hot Pockets Ham and Cheese

Deliciously melty and satisfying, our Homemade Ham and Cheese Hot Pockets are the ultimate comfort food. They are so easy even kids can make them!

Ingredients

  • 1 tube fluffy biscuits
  • 1 cup ham diced or deli sliced ham
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Instructions

PREP OVEN AND PAN:

  • Move the oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.

ASSEMBLE HOT POCKETS:

  • Press each biscuit out to make a larger round.
  • Add half a piece of cheese.
  • Then add about 1-2 tablespoons of ham or a couple of slices if using deli ham.
  • Add another half a piece of cheese.
  • Fold the biscuit in half, pressing the ends together.
  • Use a fork to crimp the edges together.

EGG WASH AND TOPPING:

  • Whisk together an egg and one tablespoon of water in a small bowl.
  • In another small bowl, combine the parmesan cheese and parsley flakes.
  • Brush egg wash on each biscuit and sprinkle with parmesan cheese mixture.

BAKE:

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

TO FINISH:

  • Cool for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with the dipping sauce of your choice.
