Ingredients

  • 10 Italian sausages hot or mild
  • 1 large orange bell pepper
  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 1 large yellow bell pepper
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 10 Hoagie rolls or large hot dog buns

Instructions

PREP GRILL:

  • To begin, preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

PREP VEGGIES:

  • Clean the peppers by removing the ribs and cutting them in half. Place them on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the peppers with olive oil and sprinkle them with seasoning, salt, and pepper.

GRILL SAUSAGES:

  • Next, place the sausages on the grill and cook them for approximately 3-4 minutes before adding the peppers.
  • Continue cooking for 12-14 minutes, occasionally turning the peppers and sausages.
  • The peppers should be slightly tender and exhibit nice grill marks, while the sausages should be browned.

TO FINISH:

  • Once cooked, immediately serve the grilled peppers and sausages on buns.
  • Enjoy your meal!
