Ham and Noodle Casserole

This creamy, cheesy Ham and Noodle Casserole is a filling and easy dinner. It's also a great way to use up leftover holiday ham.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bag uncooked egg noodles
  • 10.5 oz can condensed cream of mushroom or chicken soup undiluted
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • cup milk whole or 2%
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked ham diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

COOK NOODLES:

  • Cook noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.

PREP OVEN AND BAKING DISH:

  • Move oven rack to the middle position and preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Lightly coat a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

ASSEMBLE CASSEROLE:

  • In a large bowl whisk together soup, sour cream, milk and seasonings.
  • Stir in ham, cooked noodles and 1 ½ cup shredded cheese until well blended.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese.

BAKE:

  • Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and take the foil off and return to oven for 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the casserole is bubbly.

SERVE:

  • Remove from oven and serve immediately.
