Turkey Treats
We all know Thanksgiving is all about the food. From the turkey to the mashed potatoes, to the cranberry salad. We love it all! But one of our other favorite parts about Thanksgiving is setting the table.
We love to decorate the table for this special occasion. One fun way to do this is to make these Turkey Treats for each place setting. These are not just for the kid’s table! Adults love them too!
If you are not hosting this year, these are also fun to bring for the dessert table as an option for those who do not like pie (gasp!). These Turkey Treats would also be fun to make for a school party or bring to a potluck.
They are incredibly easy to make and are a no-bake dessert. The kids love to help assemble them as well. The pretzel’s salty bite, along with the sweet chocolate, really makes the perfect festive treat for Thanksgiving!
Can I use chocolate chips for melting?
Yes! Chocolate chips are perfect for melting because they are already in small bits, allowing them to melt quickly and evenly.
How do you melt chocolate chips for dipping in the microwave?
Melting chocolate in the microwave is the quickest and most convenient way to melt chocolate. However, be sure to melt it in increments as you can easily burn the chocolate if you cook it for too long. We recommend melting it in 30-second increments to be able to stir often and check the chocolate frequently.
