My family gobble up these Homemade Chicken Fingers every time we make them. The recipe includes instructions for baking and frying.
– 3 pounds chicken tenders – milk – lemon juice – cornstarch – sugar – panko bread crumbs – flour – onion powder, oregano, garlic – salt & pepper – vegetable or peanut oil.
In a large bowl whisk to combine the marinade ingredients.
Add the chicken, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, but no more than 60 minutes.
Take 2 chicken tenders out of the milk marinade. Place the chicken in the bread crumbs mixture and cover all sides with the bread crumbs. Transfer chicken tenders to a clean plate.
Place coated chicken on a wire rack on a baking sheet. Spray with cooking spray. Bake 15-20 min, flipping halfway. For frying, add 2-3 pieces to hot oil, cook 3-4 min, flip, & cook 2-3 min.
