How To Make Marshmallow Pops
***For complete recipe instructions, see the recipe card below.
- First, push a popsicle rod through the middle of two marshmallows. Ensure the marshmallows are touching each other. Push the marshmallows down on the rod so that ½ inch of the rod sticks up through the top of the marshmallows.
- Next, heat the white chocolate chips in a medium-sized bowl until smooth.
- Then, spoon the white chocolate over the marshmallows, coating the sides and top to bottom. Set them in the fridge for five minutes.
- Using the ½ inch of the popsicle rod sticking out of the marshmallow, add a Peep rabbit by pushing it down onto it.
- Next, melt the candy wafers and drizzle them over the Easter Marshmallow Pops.
- Finally, use colored sprinkles to finish decorating the pops and chill in the fridge for about five minutes before serving.
Recipe Variations and Substitutions
- You can substitute the white chocolate chips with white melting wafers.
- Instead of bunny peeps, you can use any other Easter shape.
- You can also use more than two marshmallows per pop. You can stack as many as you want.
Storage Tips
SERVE: Serve the pops at room temperature or slightly chilled.
STORE: Store these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. You can also store them in your refrigerator for up to 7 days, but you’ll want to let them come back to room temperature before serving them because the marshmallows tend to harden when cold.
FREEZE: We do not recommend freezing these pops. They tend to crack when frozen and not thaw well when covered in white chocolate and candy.
Recipe FAQs
A popular treat at Easter time, a peep is a sugar-coated marshmallow. The marshmallows are shaped into bunnies and chicks.
The marshmallows will not stay fresh after the second day, so we recommend making them up to one day in advance.
