Recipe FAQs
Yes! The sweet banana flavor is a nice compliment to chocolate. Don’t believe us? Try it for yourself and come back and let us know!
This recipe should result in deliciously moist bread. If it is too dry, it could be due to too much flour. We always say measure twice and pour once!
This could be a result of overmixing. When mixing the wet ingredients, be sure to mix until combined. It is ok if the batter has a chunky texture. However, overmixing can lead to chewy bread, which is not the texture we are looking for in this quick bread recipe.
Get Kids Involved

Can I swap the Avocado for something else? Would applesauce work? Or any suggestions?

You can try it but there is no butter or oil so you need the fat from the avocado for the recipe. If you try it let us know how it turns out.
